Meet Zee the Zebra: Children's Health Support

We are thrilled to share our recent work for the International Autoimmune Encephalitis Society (IAES) for their Child Support provisions.
Zee the Zebra stars in three animations to help children navigate a diagnosis. We break down the science, treatments, and emotions into clear guides that make sense.

In the Studio Right Now

We are teaming up with Iliffe Ward once more to create four important storytelling videos for the NSPCC. Alongside this, we're working on an engaging summary video for De Montfort University to celebrate their Talent25 programme, which explores how early creative activities shape a child's development.

Award Wins

Since our last newsletter, we’ve won two awards for Of All The Things - Best of Northants, Animation at Northampton Film Festival, and Best Animation at Coventry Phoenix Film Festival. 

Festival Selections

The festival fun continues with selections at Cardiff Animation Festival, Go Mental in Berlin, and Sunrise in Lowestoft. We are also thrilled to be nominated for Best Animation, Best Music (Sarah Playford), and Best Sound (Heidi Wilson) at the Midlands Movie Awards. News just in that we are taking part in the Through A Different Lens festival in September too.

Animation Talks & Events

It has been a busy month for networking and talks. Here is what we have been up to recently:

  • Cardiff Animation Festival: We screened our film, and Steff joined the Skwigly Brunch Q&A panel as well as the AFA podcast.

  • Animorsels in Nottingham: Steff delivered a talk on the highs and lows of making a short film.

  • Get Animated Conference Birmingham: Bella explored the future of the animation industry for small studios.
