Kino Bino’s 1st Newsletter

We recently sent out Kino Bino’s first newsletter to our lovely subscribers. With lots of animated updates from the studio, hints and tips from the team we wanted to share it here too. You can get next quarters update directly to your inbox by joining our mailing list.

FEATURED PROJECT

Amaze - Endometriosis

For our first newsletter, we wanted to feature one of our projects for Amaze, the US sex education website taking the awkwardness out of growing up.

Amaze approached us to produce a new video all about endometriosis for their 2023 output. Once again they wanted a fun yet informative animated video which was age appropriate for their worldwide audience.

The video has had over 84k views on Youtube and is getting great reviews and importantly bringing more awareness about this condition and offering useful advice.

Our NHS Staff Network video included British Sign Language - this was taken from our shoot with ImageNova filmed in the @Phoenix studio

BBC Bitesize & NHS

We are working on several NHS projects, the most recent showcasing Staff Networks for under-represented and disadvantaged groups within the organisation. This project included a British Sign Language shoot with ImageNova at Phoenix Square

We're also working with local charity Trade Sexual Health providing advice for Chinese students in the city of Leicester.

This month we also delivered a mini dance series to BBC Bitesize for their Primary - Expressive Arts offering - which we look forward to sharing soon.

THROWBACK

Last Year

We welcomed our two new creatives Mhari & Kathryn to the team. Together they worked on some great projects for BBC Teach, NHS, and Leicester City Council which you can catch up with here.

FEMALE FOUNDERS

Steff was invited to join this year’s cohort of Female Founders run by Creative UK and is just about to finish her time with them. She’s had some invaluable advice and can’t wait to put it all into practise

Of All The Things

We are continuing with backgrounds, adding textures, and have begun some animation tests for a key sequence in the film. The support from the BFI has been fantastic and we’ve enjoyed taking part in all the very useful workshops they’ve run so far. Read more about the project here.
